Kristen Ham grew up on Sydney’s northern beaches, has lived in the UK as well as volunteered in Africa helping to up skill locals in an environment of critically high unemployment. In 2011 she followed her ‘inner country’ and moved to Central Queensland.
She has a breadth of financial industry experience including financial and investment analytics, accounting, commercial banking and agribusiness.
Immediately prior to becoming a financial planner Kristen forged a successful career with the Westpac Group which included appointments as:
- An Analyst with BT Investment Management in Sydney
- An agribusiness analyst with Westpac based in Rockhampton
- A Commercial Bank Manager for Westpac responsible to clients in the Central Highlands.
Experience in these roles combined with extensive tertiary qualifications have positioned Kristen well to pursue a career in Financial Planning. She is highly credentialed and her dedication and drive to provide a premium service to her clients is evidenced through her continual pursuit of educational and personal growth, conducted in conjunction with her professional career, family business and personal investments.
In parallel with her employment, Kristen and her husband Simon run a small EU, Droughtmaster cattle operation and a quality stock horse breeding program. They are a young family, having welcomed their first child Jethro into the world in October 2014.
Kristen has the best interests of her clients at heart. Fundamental to her approach is the belief that good business is built on relationships that are longstanding, transparent and consistent. The career progression she has achieved in a relatively short period is testament to the range and depth of her knowledge, her professional conduct and her uncompromisingly high ethics.
