Bob Currie has extensive experience within the financial planning industry. Bob has spent over 40 years in Financial Services within Westpac during which he has held senior positions in both banking and financial planning. Bob was with Westpac Financial Planning for 25 years as a Senior Financial Planner where he was successful in building a business through excellence in client service and advice. Bob focuses on a holistic approach to Financial Planning and tailors his advice specifically for his individual clients to help them to achieve their goals and objectives. Through the ongoing service proposition he provides to his clients, they are able to monitor and enhance their plans with regular reviews and market updates. Throughout his career Bob has developed a sound knowledge of investments, superannuation and asset protection strategies. His specialist skills are in the areas of Retirement Planning, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, Personal Superannuation, Estate Planning, Wealth Protection planning, and Centrelink strategies. Bob recommends regular reviews of investment and family protection strategies to ensure his client’s individual goals remain on track. Bob also recommends that investment objectives be reviewed when lifestyle changes occur and helps his clients through these hurdles to provide peace of mind. Bob has a wife, Lyn, and three sons, Adam, Scott, and Tim. At present, they all live in Toowoomba.

Bob is a Certified Financial Planner TM and is an active associate member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. Bob is also the current Chair of the Toowoomba / Darling Downs Chapter of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

Bob has completed specialist courses in the area of Self Managed Superannuation Funds, Investments and Estate Planning.
